Universities Canada Masters Scholarship is now open for applications from suitably qualified students. It is a fully funded scholarship for all students sponsored by the Universities Canada.

Funded by the Weston Family Foundation, these annual awards are some of the most prestigious in the country for students pursuing a master’s degree, a doctoral degree or postdoctoral fellowship.

Each award is valued at $15,000 over one (1) year.

Requirements for Universities Canada Masters Scholarship
1. Applicants to the master’s level of the awards program must:
2. Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada as of the application deadline;
3. Be enrolled in a master’s program (leading to a thesis) in the natural sciences pursuing northern research at an accredited Canadian university as of the application deadline;
4. Have received approval for their research proposal, including any required ethical reviews and/or research licenses, by the time they start their award.
